Delete your data

You can remove your SchoolRides data at any time, whether you signed up with a password or with Google. Signing in with Google never stores that provider's password on our side, and revoking SchoolRides in your Google account settings only stops future sign-ins there — it does not delete anything from SchoolRides. Use one of the two methods below to actually remove your data.

1. In the app

Go to Profile → Danger zone → Delete account and confirm. This immediately deletes your account, profile, children, cars, seat bookings, partner link, and any pending partner invites, and removes you from every circle you belong to. Any profile or child picture you uploaded is removed from storage at the same time.

Rides you were driving are not deleted: they stay in the circle without a driver or your car assigned, so the other parents still see the seats they booked. Activity feed entries you caused keep their text but lose the link to your account. If you were the only member of a circle, that circle is deleted with you. If you were the only admin of a circle with other members, the longest-standing other member is made admin so the circle keeps working.

Backup copies of the database that may still contain your data expire within 30 days.

2. By email

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We handle these requests within 30 days and apply the same rules described above.
